Creeping red fescue with improved disease resistance. Tops for summer patch, red thread and dollar spot. Early greenup. Great for low fertility, no-mow situations. Top NTEP grouping East, Transition zone, West.
Hard fescue. Attractive color and density under low fertility and shade. Can't be beat for heat and drought tolerance. Strong disease resistance including red thread and pythium.
Chewings fescue that exhibits improved color and density. Better heat and drought tolerance in NTEP trials. Broad spectrum disease resistance, including red thread. Low to moderate fertility requirements.
Hard fescue. Strongly adapted to low fertility and shade, poor soils. Combines well with other fine fescues for erosion control, slopes, and open turf areas. Improved leaf spot resistance.
Chewings fescue. NTEP leader in overall quality under sun, shade, and traffic conditions. Excellent color, density, and texture. Blends well for higher fertility applications.
