In 1946, Pratum, Oregon farmers founded a Co-Op to grow prime Willamette Valley grass seed. 75 years later, Pratum Co-Op’s grain elevator is a landmark, and Mountain View Seeds varieties reap the benefits of that outstanding farmer network.​ MVS was created in 1998 to manage mounting seed demand for Pratum’s private variety production.

3 high-capacity pits, 100 bulk bins, & 200,000sq.ft. of warehouse space combine with 6 blending lines to handle 650,000 pounds of seed per day.

Our small package line creates brilliant designs from 1 to 50 pounds, and we handle up to 2,000 pound bulk bags, including treated seed.



75+ years of experience. We utilize all major Intermodal, LTL, and OTR carriers. Capacity for 20+ truckload staging per day. From order fulfillment, to managing inventory, to on-time rail or truck delivery, we hire the make buying grass seed easy.
